“Elle” means “She” in French. On this website, we used the pronouns “she” and “her” as over 90% of BossBabe and Elle’s combined audiences identify as women. However, we welcome anyone to participate in our initiatives regardless of their gender identity. Last year, over 1,800 women-owned businesses were launched every day, but there's still a lot of work to do. Our intent is to help more female entrepreneurs start and scale businesses. We used the words “female” and “women” but welcome anyone to participate in our initiatives regardless of sex, race, or sexual orientation.
